Lisa Glatt is the author of A Girl Becomes a Comma Like That and the new story collection The Apple's Bruise. David Hernandez's first book of poetry, A House Waiting for Music is being followed by Always Danger, due out in 2006. They're married. Laila Lalami is the woman behind the popular and thoughtful litblog Moorishgirl.
